About Sharon Egan:
My artwork is a visual journal of people and places
I love. Each change of season in beautiful Bucks County offers
new inspiration. Watercolor is my favorite medium, for the paint
can behave in unexpected ways resulting in "happy accidents"
and surprises that keep each painting fresh.
My painting style has been most influenced by Glenna Lange Bye,
Miriam Warfield, Kass Morin Freeman, James Toogood and the late
Beverly Fuller Garnett. I am a member of Artsbridge, Artists'
Circle, Doylestown Art League and the New Britain Art Colony.
I am very much looking forward to meeting watercolor
friends old and new this summer at Bucks County Community College!

Watercolor Awash with Color
Watercolor is an extremely flexible medium used
for everything from light sketches to finished works. Whether
you are a beginner or a more advanced student, you will be encouraged
to realize and appreciate your own unique vision as a developing
artist. Painting from still life or photographs, you will study
techniques such as washes, glazing, dry brush, texturing, and
more, in a fun and supportive atmosphere, while learning from
and celebrating each others individual creativity. A materials
list will be provided. Sharon Egan, B.A.

Thank you to the wonderful group of watercolor artists
