About Sharon Egan:
My artwork is a visual journal of people and places
I love. Each change of season in beautiful Bucks and Hunterdon
Counties offers new inspiration. Watercolor is my favorite medium
for the paint can behave in unexpected ways resulting in "happy
accidents" and surprises that keep each painting fresh. My
painting style has been most influenced by Glenna Lange Bye and
Miriam Warfield and in workshops with James Toogood, the late
Beverly Fuller Garnett and Mary Whyte. I am continually awed and
inspired by my teacher Kass Morin Freeman.
Offering classes and workshops in 2012: April at
Bucks County Community College and June at Grounds for Sculpture
in Hamilton, NJ.
